Meet the coach

In the past eight years I have been teaching students how to code, I learned that when taught consistently, students are capable of understanding and working with professional code at a very young age. This builds their confidence and helps them make better choices as they grow. My name is Mekhala, I am an iOS engineer and founder of Playground. I love to code, build products and I love to teach students how to code. Download Playground Engineer app from Appstore to see my student's projects.

This summer, I’m launching the entirely FREE June Inspire Series not only to help your students feel more confident to code, but also to show them what’s possible.

“It doesn't seem like magic anymore. I can understand it.” That’s what my student, Meghana, said when she published her first Swift Playgrounds app to the App Store. And she was only a 5th grader.
